About Rocco Forte Knights
A family's love letter to Europe.
Rocco Forte Hotels was founded in 1996 by Sir Rocco Forte and his sister Olga Polizzi, beginning with The Balmoral in Edinburgh. It remains a family business: Sir Rocco is chairman, Olga Polizzi is design director, and his three children are part of the business. The hotels are grand addresses in great European cities and landscapes, among them Rome, Florence, Sicily, Puglia, London, Munich and Berlin, each dressed with Polizzi's eye for local craft and colour. The collection numbers around 15 hotels and resorts.
Rocco Forte Knights is the group's programme for its partner travel advisers, and every Rocco Forte hotel takes part. Booking through a Knights adviser attaches the programme's benefits to your stay and gives you someone who knows the houses well. It suits travellers planning a European journey through Italy or the great capitals who want family-run warmth at every stop.
