Auberge Resorts Collection

Auberge traces its roots to Auberge du Soleil in Napa Valley, where the French restaurateur Claude Rouas and his partner Bob Harmon opened the valley's first fine-dining restaurant in 1981, adding an inn five years later. That blend of easy elegance, serious food and a strong sense of place still defines the collection. Its hotels are individual, design-led and rooted in their surroundings, from Napa and Santa Fe to Los Cabos, Santorini and Florence. Owned by The Friedkin Group, it now numbers around 37 hotels and resorts, plus safari camps in Tanzania.
