About Four Seasons Preferred Partner
The house that Isadore Sharp built.
Four Seasons began in 1960, when Isadore Sharp, still in his twenties, set out to open a hotel of his own; it took him more than five years to convince backers, and the first opened on an unpromising downtown Toronto site in 1961. Sharp built the company on the Golden Rule, treating guests and staff as he would wish to be treated, and that idea still shapes the house style: intuitive, unhurried service that feels the same in a Paris palace or a tented camp in northern Thailand. Today Four Seasons runs around 135 hotels and resorts and some 61 residences in 47 countries.
Four Seasons Preferred Partner is the company's invitation-only network of luxury travel advisers. Book through a member and the reservation is flagged to the hotel before you arrive, with the programme's benefits attached and the adviser on hand to arrange the details. It suits travellers who return to Four Seasons often and like each stay to start with a hotel that already knows them.
