New Opening 21 October 2026

Four Seasons sets out its 2027 openings, yacht voyages and jet journeys

From Okinawa and Zanzibar to The Park Gstaad, Four Seasons maps its new hotels, reimagined icons and journeys by sea and air for 2027.

Four Seasons has gathered its plans for the year ahead into one outlook, announced in Toronto on 20 October 2026. It covers new hotels and resorts, transformed flagships, residences, and journeys by land, sea and sky. For travellers who settle their calendars a year in advance, it works as a planning document: what can be booked now, what is coming in 2027 and beyond, and which familiar addresses have changed.

The most immediate opportunities are the hotels that opened during 2026. Four Seasons lists Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos, Danieli Venezia, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea at Shura Island, and AMAALA at Triple Bay as destinations to discover now. In Venice, the Danieli’s restored rooftop, the Terrazza Danieli, gives the historic hotel a renewed focal point. On the Red Sea, Shura Island offers six dining concepts, a stone-clad hammam spa and three pools, while AMAALA at Triple Bay has six open-air restaurants and lounges. Further west, Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena is adding El Aljibe, a speakeasy opening this autumn.

The 2027-and-beyond list is long and geographically wide. In the Caribbean, Dominican Republic at Tropicalia carries a design by the Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld. In Switzerland, The Park Gstaad is being transformed under Joseph Dirand, the Parisian designer known for his restrained interiors. Caye Chapel in Belize brings together overwater bungalows, a Greg Norman golf course and a conservation institute led by Fabien Cousteau, which makes it one of the more distinctive projects in the pipeline. Four Seasons Resort Zanzibar will sit on 126 acres of beachfront.

The city openings are just as notable. Berlin will be at the Hotel de Rome, and Beirut is planned with 230 rooms and suites, a rooftop pool and a Peruvian restaurant. Luxor and The Biltmore Santa Barbara also appear among the anticipated openings, together with Jacksonville, Madinah, Jeddah at the Corniche and Cairo Capital at Madinaty. Across Egypt and Saudi Arabia, that gives the brand a growing presence in places where cultural travel and hospitality now go hand in hand.

Okinawa may draw the most attention. Four Seasons Resort and Residences Okinawa will be the brand’s first resort in Japan, set on 100 acres, with Kengo Kuma and Kuniken as architects. Kuma’s work, rooted in timber, light and landscape, suits an island setting, and the project gives Four Seasons a resort counterpart to its city hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto.

Returning guests will want to look closely at the reimagined icons. At Maui at Wailea, the Kai Holo Spa is new. Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City has introduced the restaurants Oma and Fifty Mils. The Westcliff Johannesburg has a new Destination Lobby and Afternoon Tea, and Tokyo at Marunouchi, redesigned with André Fu Studio, now includes SEZANNE and Maison Marunouchi. At Bali at Sayan, the first seven HBA-designed riverside suites have arrived, an update for a resort long valued for its setting above the Ayung River valley.

At sea, Four Seasons Yachts will expand its 2027 Mediterranean and Caribbean journeys and add Egypt and Costa Rica to its map. Select voyages aboard Four Seasons I will carry a Chef-in-Residence programme, giving those sailings a clear culinary focus. Guests choosing between departures should check which voyages include it.

In the air, the Four Seasons Private Jet Experience 2027 offers four journeys of 21 to 24 days: International Intrigue, New World Icons, World of Adventures and Ancient Explorer. Each is curated by a dedicated Journey team, and the format remains one of the most complete ways to see several of the brand’s hotels in a single trip.

For those thinking about a longer stay, the residential offering includes Four Seasons Private Residences at Naples Beach Club, with 58 beachfront homes and 95 golf-side residences, and Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico, set within a 483-acre nature reserve. The practical advice is simple: the hotels open now can be booked straight away, the refreshed icons give reason to return, and the 2027 openings, yacht voyages and jet journeys are worth registering interest in early, as these limited departures and new addresses tend to fill first.
