Tivoli President Milano adds Longevity Suite, new restaurant and rooftop suite

The Largo Augusto five-star unveils a wellness club built around Starpool technology, a Duomo-view restaurant by Natale Giunta and a 150 sq m rooftop Presidential Suite.

Tivoli President Milano, the recently renovated five-star hotel on Largo Augusto, has unveiled three additions that change what a stay here can offer: the Tivoli Wellness Club with its dedicated Longevity Suite, the CityMilano by Natale Giunta restaurant, and a 150 sq m Presidential Suite with direct access to the ninth-floor panoramic rooftop. The hotel joined Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, part of Minor Hotels, less than a year ago, and these openings are the clearest expression yet of what the brand intends the property to be.

The building has a pedigree worth knowing. It was originally built between 1961 and 1965 to designs by Luigi Figini and Gino Pollini, two names closely tied to Italian modernist architecture. The recent renovation, led by Rodrigo Izquierdo, redesigned the hotel throughout. It now has 239 rooms, 60 of which are suites, which gives it the scale of a serious city hotel while keeping the new facilities on a more personal footing.

The Tivoli Wellness Club is arranged around a wet area with sauna and steam room, a relaxation area and a treatment room for face and body. Treatments use INSÌUM, an Italian premium vegan skincare brand. The gym is fitted with Technogym equipment, and guests can request a private trainer, a yoga session or a personal runner service, a practical option for travellers who want to keep a training routine during a city stay.

The centrepiece is the Longevity Suite, which uses Starpool technology. Three treatments define it: Zerobody Dry Float, Zerobody Cryo and Molecular Hydrogen inhalation. Longevity-focused wellness has become a recognisable thread in luxury hospitality, and housing these technologies inside a central Milan hotel gives guests access to them without leaving the city for a dedicated retreat.

Access beyond the hotel’s own guests is measured. A limited number of external members can join through membership cards, while non-resident guests can book individual treatments or Zerobody sessions through the hotel website or by phone. For visitors staying elsewhere in Milan, that makes a single session in the Longevity Suite a straightforward thing to add to an itinerary.

Dining has been given equal attention. CityMilano by Natale Giunta occupies the first floor, with views of the Duomo, and brings the Sicilian chef’s Mediterranean and Sicilian cooking to Milan. The room includes a piano bar, and on Friday and Saturday nights DJ sets take over for the weekend. The restaurant’s first cocktail list draws its inspiration from Alessandro Manzoni’s I Promessi Sposi (The Betrothed), a literary reference that gives the bar a distinctly Italian point of view.

The most significant addition for those planning a special occasion is the new Presidential Suite. At 150 sq m, it has views of the Duomo, a private kitchen, three bathrooms, its own Technogym gym and a private sauna. Its defining feature is direct access to the ninth-floor panoramic rooftop, which turns the suite into a self-contained residence at the top of the building, with the wellness and fitness facilities of the hotel replicated in private.

The suite also has a seasonal role. From 1 December, the Presidential Suite and the rooftop become the Tivoli Christmas Suite, an immersive festive setting open to hotel guests and available for private and corporate events. For anyone planning a December visit to Milan, or a small celebration with the Duomo as a backdrop, it is a setting to book early.

Taken together, the additions give Tivoli President Milano a fuller offer on Largo Augusto: a wellness club with a clear focus on longevity, a chef-led restaurant with Duomo views, and a rooftop suite that doubles as a festive venue for the season. For travellers heading to Milan this winter, the hotel now merits consideration as a base in its own right.
