Regent’s Seven Seas Prestige unveils its largest spa and first in-suite gym
Regent Seven Seas Cruises' new ship brings the line's largest spa, a 6,006 sq ft gym, its first salt room and a private gym inside the Skyview Regent Suite.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has set out the wellness programme for Seven Seas Prestige, its newest ship. It is the most extensive spa, longevity and fitness offering the line has built into a vessel. The ship carries the largest Serene Spa & Wellness facility in Regent’s fleet history, the line’s first salt room, a 6,006 sq ft Fitness Centre and a private gym inside its flagship suite. It all arrives with the maiden voyage on 13 December 2026, a 14-night transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Miami.
The spa sits on deck 4 and has 10 treatment rooms in total. These include a dedicated acupuncture room, a medi-spa room and a couple’s treatment room. For travellers who organise a voyage around their wellbeing, the spread matters. Clinical treatments, traditional therapies and shared experiences each have their own space, so a single sailing can take in all three.

At the centre of the facility is a thermal suite that is complimentary to guests. Regent’s first-ever salt room joins saunas, steam rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, an aroma room, a snow room and heated loungers. That makes the thermal circuit something to use daily, on sea days and after time ashore alike. On a 14-night transatlantic crossing, with its long run of days at sea, that is a real part of the appeal.

Fitness gets the same attention. The new Fitness Centre measures 6,006 sq ft, the largest gym in Regent’s history. It is fitted wall-to-wall with Technogym’s new Sand Stone Collection, AI-based equipment that the ship is among the first to carry. Guests who train seriously at home will find a space built on a scale to match. On a ship where the voyage can run for a fortnight, that matters.

The headline addition is in the Skyview Regent Suite, which Regent describes as the world’s largest all-inclusive ultra-luxury cruise ship suite. It now holds Regent’s first-ever private in-suite gym, a 161 sq ft room equipped with a Technogym Bike Personal Live, a Kinesis Personal Vision, a Technogym Bench and a Technogym Visio. Guests in the suite also receive two complimentary spa services each day. It is a cruise industry first, and it suits travellers who like to train privately and on their own schedule.

The medi-spa programme also grows. New treatments include Thermage FLX and truSculpt body contouring, the Niagen NAD+ Longevity IV, LED-enhanced acupuncture and the Plated Exosomes Serum. From ELEMIS, guests can book the new Cryotighten + Firm treatment and ELEMIS Red Light Face Mask Therapy. The ship also brings the NEXA portable skin imaging system, which gives clinical-grade analysis of the skin’s surface and the layers beneath. Each scan comes with a consultation led by an aesthetician, so treatments can follow a considered plan.
The expansion builds on Regent’s long partnership with ELEMIS. That partnership also produces a new themed sailing in 2027, the ‘Spotlight on Wellness & Longevity with ELEMIS’ voyage. Travellers who want a whole itinerary built around the subject may want to watch for its details alongside the Seven Seas Prestige schedule.
The wellness space reflects the ship’s wider proportions. Seven Seas Prestige is 40% larger than previous Regent ships but carries only 10% more guests, with 411 suites and 630 crew. More room per guest and a high ratio of crew to guests are exactly the conditions that make a spa of this size work well. Treatment slots, thermal-suite time and gym equipment are shared among a relatively small number of people.
For anyone weighing the maiden season, the December transatlantic crossing is the first chance to try all of it. Fourteen nights between Barcelona and Miami give time for a proper programme: a skin analysis early in the voyage, treatments spaced across the crossing and regular sessions in the gym and thermal suite. Wellness-minded travellers who favour the Skyview Regent Suite will find its private gym and daily spa services the most complete version of what Regent now offers.
