Four Seasons Yachts Adds a Lanserhof Longevity Residency at Sea
An eight-day residency built with the Austrian longevity clinic Lanserhof will run aboard Four Seasons I on its first transatlantic crossing.
Four Seasons Yachts has opened bookings for The Lanserhof Reset, an eight-day wellness residency developed in collaboration with Lanserhof, the Austrian longevity and medical-wellness group. It will debut aboard Four Seasons I during the yacht’s inaugural transatlantic crossing, sailing November 8–16, 2026.
Lanserhof has been working in this field since 1984, and its name carries weight with the sort of traveller who treats a health programme as a considered appointment. The house method rests on diagnostics first and therapy second: understand the individual, then build the treatment around what the findings show. The Reset carries that sequence to sea. Guests begin with personalised consultations and diagnostics in the yacht’s medical centre, and the eight days that follow are shaped by the results, guided throughout by Lanserhof’s own methodology.
The treatments themselves sit on the restorative end of the spectrum. Craniosacral alignment, breathwork and sound baths form the core of the bodywork, and the programme is paired with nutritional guidance drawn from Lanserhof Energy Cuisine, the group’s own approach to eating for recovery. The signature chlorophyll shots make the crossing too. It is a programme designed to work cumulatively over the full eight days, which is precisely what a crossing allows in a way a port-hopping itinerary struggles to.
Running alongside all of this is L’Oceana Spa, Four Seasons I’s own wellness facility, which the residency is designed to complement. The spa’s hammam and thermal circuit cover the traditional heat-and-water sequence, and the harder-edged recovery tools are there as well: cryotherapy, infrared and hydrotherapy. Guests on the Reset can therefore move between clinical guidance and self-directed recovery across the same eight days, with both under one roof.
One detail worth noting for anyone travelling as a pair or a family: the programming is not sealed off from the rest of the ship. Every guest aboard the crossing gains access to the expert-led talks, the wellness classes and the curated culinary offerings that come with the residency. A companion with no appetite for diagnostics still has a full week of substance to attend, which quietly solves the usual problem with a medically framed holiday.
The timing is deliberate. This crossing marks Four Seasons I’s transition out of the Mediterranean and into its inaugural Caribbean season, which begins in November 2026. Repositioning voyages have long been the sleeper choice in the cruise calendar, and the brand has used this one to introduce something with more architecture than a standard sailing. The run of consecutive sea days gives a structured programme room to build a rhythm, and the arrival at the far end lands the yacht at the start of a fresh season.
Context matters here too. Four Seasons Yachts only debuted in March 2026, so this is a young operation still establishing what it stands for, and a second vessel, Four Seasons II, is set to follow in 2027. Choosing a longevity residency as one of the first signature programmes says something about where the brand believes its guests are heading. Wellness at sea has often meant a good spa and a green juice; pairing a clinic of Lanserhof’s standing with an inaugural crossing sets a considerably higher bar for what the phrase is expected to deliver.
For a discerning traveller, the practical read is straightforward. This is a fixed-date, fixed-length proposition with a defined start and finish, and the eight days are the whole point: the diagnostics at the beginning inform everything that follows, so the value sits in committing to the full arc. Anyone weighing it should also factor in the appeal of the crossing on its own terms, arriving into the Caribbean at the opening of the season. Bookings are open now at fourseasonsyachts.com/voyages.
