Life Longevity becomes Strategic Partner of the 2026 Global Wellness Summit

Minor Hotels' new wellness brand partners the invitation-only Summit in Phuket this November, and confirms a biohacking hub at The St. Regis Bangkok.

Life Longevity, the wellness brand Minor Hotels launched this month, has been named a Strategic Partner of the 2026 Global Wellness Summit, which meets in Phuket from 10 to 13 November 2026. The same announcement confirms the brand’s first city address: the Bangkok Life Longevity and Biohacking Hub, on the 15th floor of The St. Regis Bangkok, opening soon.

The Summit is a significant occasion in its own right. This is its 20th-anniversary edition, held by invitation only, and it brings together leaders from hospitality, medicine, investment, research and policy. This year’s theme is The Science, Art and Soul of Wellness. A young brand taking a partner’s seat at such a gathering, within weeks of its launch, says a good deal about how seriously Minor Hotels intends to treat the category.

The location matters too. Phuket is home to the brand’s flagship, the Layan Life Longevity Retreat at Anantara Layan Phuket Resort on Layan Beach, just minutes from the Summit venue. Delegates will be able to experience the retreat before, during and after the Summit, which places the property directly in front of the people who shape the wellness industry. For everyone else, the retreat is the part of this story that is open to guests, and the Summit offers a useful measure of the standard it is setting out to meet.

What distinguishes the Layan programme is its starting point. Every stay begins with a consultation led by qualified health professionals, who recommend only the assessments that serve the guest’s own goals. It is a measured, individual approach, and it sets the tone for what follows: a plan built around the person, with testing kept in proportion to what that person has come to achieve.

The second distinction is the way two traditions are brought together. At Layan, clinical care and Traditional Thai Medicine are prescribed side by side, with the resort’s TTM doctor and its medical team working from the same plan. For a guest, that means a single, coherent programme in which the clinical and the traditional are coordinated from the outset, each informed by the other.

Guests then choose their pace. A focused Retreat for Life suits those who arrive with a clear objective and the time to pursue it; others may prefer to move more gently through the resort’s offering. Either way, the relationship continues after departure. Life After Layan, the resort’s follow-up care programme, keeps guests in touch with their care team once they are home, which gives a stay on Layan Beach a life well beyond the final morning.

The Bangkok hub is the brand’s first urban location, and it is designed to work in concert with Phuket. With a guest’s consent, their plan and their care team carry over between the two. In practical terms, the city becomes a natural partner to the island: a place to continue a programme begun on Layan Beach, or to begin one during a stay in the capital, all under the same care team. The release describes the hub as opening soon, and its ‘About’ section gives this November as the timing, so it should be welcoming guests around the same time as the Summit.

The ambition reaches further than Thailand. Life Longevity is set to become an international brand, with further urban, resort and residential locations in development beyond the country. For now, its two addresses are Anantara Layan Phuket Resort and The St. Regis Bangkok, and that pairing of a beach retreat with a city hub looks likely to be the template for what comes next.

For the discerning traveller, the essentials are straightforward. The Summit itself is invitation-only, but the Layan retreat is the destination for anyone drawn to medically guided wellness with a grounding in Traditional Thai Medicine. Those planning a longer stay in Thailand may wish to build Bangkok into the itinerary once the hub opens, with the reassurance that their plan can travel with them.
