Conrad Koh Samui Unveils The Pearl, a 766-Square-Metre Presidential Villa
The resort's most exclusive accommodation, a two-level villa with its own spa, hydrotherapy plunge pools and 20-metre infinity pool, welcomes first guests from 1 October 2026.
Conrad Koh Samui has unveiled The Pearl, a 766-square-metre Presidential Villa arranged across two levels at the resort’s highest point. It becomes the most exclusive accommodation at the property, and it welcomes its first guests from 1 October 2026.
The position is the first thing to understand about it. From the top of the resort, The Pearl takes in panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand and the Five Islands. The plan makes repeated use of that outlook, from the terrace on the upper level to a sunken dining pavilion overlooking the coastline. A site at the summit of the resort also brings a degree of separation from the rest of the property, which suits the villa’s purpose.

The upper floor is given over to entertaining. Hilton describes it as the entertainment level, with a terrace, an open-plan living room and a private bar. Alongside these sits a dedicated catering kitchen, provided so that chef-led dining experiences can be prepared and served within the villa. For guests who like to host, or who simply prefer to dine at their own table each evening, this is the most consequential feature of the plan: the resort’s chefs come to the villa, and the villa is equipped to receive them.
Below, the lower level holds the master suite. It has a walk-in wardrobe and a marble spa bathroom fitted with a rain shower and a deep-soaking private jacuzzi. The division is a sensible one, with the sociable rooms above and the sleeping quarters set apart beneath them, so that a late dinner on the terrace and an early night can coexist under one roof.

The wellness provision is the villa’s most distinctive element. A private wellness enclave contains a couple’s treatment suite, sauna and steam rooms, hot and cold hydrotherapy plunge pools and a fitness space. In practical terms, that is a complete thermal sequence of heat, steam and cold immersion, a room for treatments for two, and somewhere to train, all reserved for the villa’s occupants. A stay built around recovery or a daily routine can be kept entirely in-house.

Outdoors, the centrepiece is a 20-metre infinity pool, long enough for swimming lengths, with sun loungers alongside. There is a private outdoor cinema for evenings, and the sunken dining pavilion gives a second setting for meals, this one facing the coastline. Taken together, the outdoor spaces offer a full day’s programme in the open air: a swim in the morning, loungers through the afternoon, dinner in the pavilion and a screening afterwards.
The design draws on Thai timber construction. A sculptural feature wall serves as the centrepiece, and the palette is one of warm woods, natural stone and layered textures. It is a material-led scheme that ties a large villa to the building traditions of the country it stands in.

Marco Araujo, general manager of Conrad Koh Samui, presents The Pearl as a response to growing demand for privacy, wellbeing and a personalised pace of travel. The villa’s contents bear that out. Treatments, exercise, hydrotherapy, a film after dark and dinner cooked by the resort’s chefs can all take place inside its walls, which allows guests to set their own timetable for the day and keep to it undisturbed.
For travellers considering it, a few points are worth holding in mind. The Pearl is a single villa, so early enquiry is sensible for anyone working to fixed dates. The release describes a master suite on the lower level; parties who need additional bedrooms should confirm the sleeping arrangements with the resort, along with rates, when enquiring. Reservations are taken through conradkohsamui.com or by email at Conrad_Koh_Samui@conradhotels.com, with first guests welcomed from 1 October 2026.
