MSC Cruises unveils a two-storey family villa for MSC World Atlantic

A single two-storey villa within the MSC Yacht Club, sleeping up to eight, is now bookable on MSC World Atlantic ahead of its Port Canaveral debut in November 2027.

MSC Cruises has revealed the Grand Hamptons Villa, a two-storey private residence within the MSC Yacht Club designed for families and multigenerational groups travelling together. There will be only one, on MSC World Atlantic, which begins sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida, in November 2027. The villa is open for booking now.

Announced on 21 October 2026, the villa is a new accommodation concept for the line, and its dimensions place it in a category of its own on board. It offers more than 230 square metres of indoor and outdoor space across two storeys, with room for up to eight guests in a primary stateroom, a kids’ suite with custom bunk beds, a double cabin and a twin bedroom. That layout suits grandparents, parents and children sharing a single address at sea, or two families who want to holiday side by side under one roof.

The centre of the villa is a double-height living area. It holds a private library, a dining area, a kitchenette and a bar, and it also contains the feature most likely to win over younger guests: a climbing tower leading up to a play area, where a secret door reveals a daily surprise. The effect is a shared family room in the truest sense, with meals, reading and play all taking place in the same generous space.

The Entertainment Loft extends that idea with a private cinema lounge, a digital gaming table and a LEGO wall. The kids’ suite has been considered with equal care. Each of its custom bunk beds has an individual TV screen, and the suite has its own private bathroom, a practical detail that families on a week or a fortnight at sea will appreciate.

The adults are well provided for too. The primary stateroom has a walk-in closet, a vanity and a balcony with an outdoor shower. Outside, the villa’s terrace is furnished with a whirlpool, lounge seating and deck games, giving the household a private open-air space of its own between days ashore.

Service is where the villa joins the wider MSC Yacht Club. Guests have access to the Yacht Club with 24-hour butler and concierge service, and the villa has a dedicated cleaning team. The booking also includes the Premium Extra Drinks package, a Fun Pass, unlimited speciality dining and Wi-Fi. For a group of up to eight, having these folded into a single booking makes the cost of the holiday far simpler to plan, and it leaves the butler and concierge to handle the daily logistics.

MSC World Atlantic will sail alternating 7-night and 14-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral, and every sailing includes a call at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas. The 7-night option fits neatly into a school holiday week. The 14-night sailings give multigenerational groups a longer stretch together, which is often the purpose of the trip in the first place.

The villa was designed in collaboration with Storyland Studios and takes its inspiration from the Hamptons, a reference that suits its mix of relaxed family living and polished hospitality. MSC Cruises’ chief executive, Gianni Onorato, presented the villa as part of the line’s broader push into family and multigenerational travel, a market the Grand Hamptons Villa is built for.

For a discerning family, the most important fact here is scarcity. One villa on one ship means a limited number of sailings each year, and the most popular holiday weeks are likely to be claimed first. Anyone considering a Caribbean voyage from Florida in late 2027 or beyond would do well to settle dates early, choose between the 7-night and 14-night formats, and book while the calendar is still open.
